2009-2010 Fellows: Jody Steinhilber

I currently work as a special educator for a public school district in the greater Boston area, serving students on the autism spectrum in a self-contained ABA classroom.  I am currently working toward a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Severe Special Needs, with specialization in deaf-blindness. I have a  bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, and a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.   Prior to my current position, I worked as a clinical and educational specialist in a private, residential school serving students with autism and related disorders.  My experiences working with children with autism with vision and hearing impairments inspired my choice of my current graduate program.
